Warmspirt Cosmetics
| Warmspirit Cosmetics is a natural skincare company geared toward African-American women. It was started in 1999 by Nadine Thompson and Daniel Wolf after they noted a shortage of natural skin products for black women. Set up much like other skincare companies, products can be purchased either through a local consultant or through the company's website. |
All Warmspirit Cosmetics products are affordably priced, ranging from $5 to $130. Having local consultants selling products not only spreads the word about the Warmspirit line, but also provides African-American women with the opportunity to work independently in their own community. All consultants are given training necessary to sell the products designed specifically for the skincare and health care needs of African-American women. Consultants are also encouraged to host parties to sell the products, and given support by the company to reach their sales goals.
The current line includes over 250 products, such as skin moisturizers and cleansers, bath products, vitamins, hair products, and homeopathic products. Their web site features soaps, cleansers & toners, creams, balms & lotions, masks & body treatments, and vitamins and supplements. Currently, the most popular product for the company is the body butter. Warmspirit Cosmetics also has a line of men's products and sells several gift items such as pillows and candles.
